Helen Miller

HELEN KATHERINE MILLER, 92 of Etna, IL passed away at 1:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home in Mattoon, IL.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at the Ward Cemetery in Hidalgo, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Helen was born on January 17, 1919 in Mauston, WI. She was a daughter of Anthony and Lillian (Cuvtuneis) Svaboda. She married Steven Douglas Miller on June 12, 1937 in Wisconsin. He passed away on December 5, 1977.

She is survived by seven children, Marge Edwards and her husband Dean of Cowden, IL, James Miller and his wife Dorothy of Etna, IL, Joe Miller and his wife Judy of Huntley, IL, Marie Fieblekorn of Trevor, WI, Robertt Miller and his wife Alice of Dekalb, IL, Lillian Miller of Trevor, WI and George Miller of Wonder Lake, IL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one brother, Billy Svaboda of Sacramento, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Junior, one daughter Bernice and one brother Tom Svaboda.
