Henry Schrock

HENRY M. SCHROCK, 83 of rural Arthur, IL passed away at 6:45 P.M. on Monday January 5, 2009 at his residence in rural Arthur, IL.

Henry was born on March 13, 1925. He was a son of Mike and Minnie (Plank) Schrock.
He married Gertrude Jess on November 25, 1948 in Douglas Co., IL. She passed away on December 16, 2005.

He is survived by six children, Mary Ellen Schrock and her husband Edward, Willis Schrock and his wife Ida, Anna Mae Kaufman and her husband David, Edna Fern Otto and her husband Milton, Raymond Schrock and his wife Dorothy and John Henry Schrock and his wife Carolyn all of Arthur, IL; 38 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers, Walter and Jonas Schrock, two sisters, Ella and Ida Schrock and three grandchildren, Treva Ann Otto, Allen Schrock, and Larry Eugene Schrock.

Henry was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Burial will be held immediately following the funeral service.
