Ida Stutzman

IDA J. STUTZMAN, 78, of Arcola, IL passed away at 4:22 P.M. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Paul E. Stutzman residence, 282 North Road 275 East in rural Arcola, IL. Bishop Raymond S. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery in rural Arcola, IL. Visitation will be time after 1:00 P.M. on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Paul E. Stutzman residence in rural Arcola, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting Ida’s family with funeral arrangements.

Ida was born on September 30, 1938 in Douglas County, IL. She was a daughter of Jonas J. and Lizzie (Beachy) Stutzman.

She is survived by one brother, John Stutzman and his wife Anna of Arcola, IL one sister-in-law, Ada Stutzman of Plain City, OH; nine nephews, nine nieces and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Daniel and Henry Stutzman, three sisters, Martha, Ella and Barbara Stutzman and three nieces.

Ida operated Stutzman’s Carpet Weaving for over 50 years and she was a member of the Old Order Amish.
