Jackson Mathes

JACKSON GALE MATHES, 86, of Arthur, IL passed away at 3:40 A.M. on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Mackville Cemetery in Atwood, IL.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Jack was born on September 11, 1931 in Decatur, IL.  He was a son of Oscar and Wilhelmina (Scheffer) Mathes.

He is survived by his niece Annette Gregory and his nephew Bruce Gregory, both of Atwood, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Barbara Jane and her husband Siler Gregory.

He farmed his entire life.
