JACOB M. MILLER, 83, of rural Arthur, IL passed away at 6:25 P.M. Sunday, March 9, 2008 at his residence.

Jacob was born on October 22, 1924 in Arthur, IL. He was a son of Menno S. and Fannie (Beachy) Miller. He married Edna J. Miller on August 15, 1946 in Arthur, IL.

Survivors include his wife Edna J. Miller of Arthur, IL; three sons, Marvin Miller and his wife Kathryn (Gingerich) of Windsor, MO, Dennis Miller and his wife Fern (Miller) of Middlebury, IN and David Miller and his wife Barbara (Kaufman) of Arthur, IL; five daughters, Anna Marie Yoder and her husband Lester of Arcola, IL, Lorene Helmuth and her husband George of Arthur, IL, Rosa Miller of Sarasota, FL, Esther Miller of Arthur, IL and Carolyn Chupp and her husband Reuben of Arthur, IL; one son-in-law Wilbur Eash of Shipshewana, IN; thirty-five grandchildren and fifty great-grandchildren; four brothers, Alvin Miller and his wife Anna (Kaufman) of Arthur, IL, Albert Miller of Arcola, IL, Ervin Miller and his wife Marlene (Yoder) of Elkhart, IN and Dave Miller and his wife Martha Ann (Kauffman) Of Arthur, IL; two sisters, Lizzie Marie Gingerich and her husband Merle of Arthur, IL and Katie Ann Troyer and her husband Emanuel of Dundee, OH and one sister-in-law Mary Miller of Arthur, IL.

His parents, one daughter Mary Elizabeth Eash, four brothers, Edward, Benjamin, Stephen, and Harvey Miller, one sister, Sarah and three grandchildren preceded Jacob in death.

Jacob was a member of the Old Order Amish.

Bishop Omer A. Miller will officiate.

Interment

Burial will be held immediately following the funeral service.
