Jada Schrock

JADA LEANN SCHROCK, 1 year,7 months and 11 day old daughter of Jerry and Amanda Schrock of Arthur, IL passed away at 12:55 P.M. on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 28, 2020 at the HCK West Building south of Arthur, IL.  Bishop Philip S. Schrock will officiate.   Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in Arthur, IL.  Visitation will be held after 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the HCK Building, and after 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the HCK Building.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Jada was born on October 13, 2018 in in Urbana, IL.   She is a daughter of Jerry Leon and Amanda Sue (Herschberger) Schrock.

She is survived by her parents, Jerry and Amanda; two siblings, Lucas Eli Schrock and Emily Louise Schrock; her maternal grandparents, Eli L. and Betty L. (Kauffman) Herschberger of Arthur, IL; her paternal grandparents, Eli E. and Arlene (Gingerich) Schrock of Arthur, IL; her maternal great-grandfather, Levi C. Herschberger of Arthur, IL; her paternal great-grandparents, Edward C. and Clara (Chupp) Schrock of Arthur, IL and Fannie O. (Diener) Gingerich of Sullivan, IL and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jada was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Edna E. (Schrock) Herschberger and Ervin S. and Lovina (Yoder) Kauffman, a paternal great-grandfather, Eli J. Gingerich, and a cousin, Alyssa Grace Schrock.

Jada’s family are members of the Old Order Amish Faith.
