James F. Conners

James F. Conners, 78, of Vero Beach, FL, went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2022 at 11:38 PM in Hospice Care.
 
Jim was born on May 13, 1944 in Tuscola, IL.  He was a son of Stephen P. and Mayme (Beiler) Conners.  He was the grandson of Jake and Lydia (Yoder) Beiler.

He is survived by two sisters, Barbara Hale of Arcola, IL, and Elizabeth Bassani of Vero Beach, FL, one brother, Stephen Conners of Bonaire, GA and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

The family moved to Vero Beach in 1957.  Jim graduated from Vero Beach High School.  He was employed by and retired from Piper Aircraft.

Jim enjoyed spending time with his friends at Country Kitchen Restaurant in Vero Beach, FL.  He enjoyed fishing, baling hay and riding with David in his semi, also spending time with his other nieces and nephews, and their children.  He enjoyed attending ice hockey games with Tom to watch his great nephews play.  Jim loved being with his family.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Arcola, IL.  Deacon Jeff Beals will officiate.  Visitation will be held one hour prior, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church.  Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery next to his loving parents.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
