James Franklin Decker Jr.

James Franklin Decker Jr., 65, of Arcola, IL passed away at 7:47 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

No formal services were planned.

James was born on January 26, 1959, in Arcola, IL. He was a son of James Franklin Sr. and Ruby Jane (Heath) Decker.

He is survived by four children, James Decker III “Bubby” and his wife Tiffani, of Oologah, OK, Kesha Olandese of Coweta, OK, Shawn Embry of Mattoon, IL, and Sarah Renee Katherine Decker of Tulsa, OK nine grandchildren, with one on the way, his mother, Ruby and one sister.

He was preceded in death by his dad, two sisters, Lisa and Rachel, and one brother, Zyndle Decker. 

James was a glass installer working for the union installing glass in skyscrapers all over the United States. He enjoyed fishing, and really enjoyed having a good time and spending time with his children.
