James Farris Sr

JAMES FRANKLIN FARRIS SR., 54 of Mattoon, IL passed away at 9:17 P.M. on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Private services were held. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with cremation.

James was born on February 20, 1954 in Mattoon, IL. He was a son of Benjamin and Lelia (Bebe) Farris. He married Tammy Myers in 1993.

He is survived by his wife Tammy Farris of Mattoon, IL, eight children, Patricia Brant of Charleston, IL; James Farris Jr. of Mattoon, IL, Robert Farris of Hazel Dell, IL, Donna Fulk of Mattoon, IL Donald Fulk of Charleston, IL, Harlee Farris of Mattoon, IL, Dakota Farris of Mattoon IL and Chavez Farris of Mattoon, IL; one brother, Robert Farris of Mattoon, IL and three sister, Josephine Barnes of Mattoon, IL, Mary Porter of Centralia, IL and Martha Spidel of Mattoon, IL 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents, 2 sons and one brother.
