JAMES PETER WIRTZ, 57, of Aurora, IL passed away at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, July 20, 2008 at his daughter’s residence in Champaign, IL.
A private memorial gathering was held at his sister’s home at 529 Surrey Ridge Drive in Cary, IL on Saturday, July 26, 2008. Edwards Funeral Home of Arcola, IL assisted the family.
Mr. Wirtz was born May 20, 1951 in Chicago, IL. He was a son of Peter and Lorraine (Izinicki) Wirtz. He married Rosalind DeCoster on April 27, 1974 in Chicago.
He is survived by two daughters, Rachel Wirtz of Glendale, WI and Amanda Kreeb of Champaign, IL; his parents, Peter and Lorraine Wirtz of Winthrop Harbor, IL; his brother, John Wirtz of Streamwood, IL; and his sister, Laury Anderson of Cary, IL.
