Jared Hackler

JARED THOMAS HACKLER, 20, of Louisa, KY passed away at 11:23 A.M. Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Jared was born July 6, 1987 in Tuscola, IL. He was a son of Brian Scott Hackler and Pamela Mae (Lemaster) Hackler.

Survivors include his father, Brian Hackler of Arcola, IL; his mother, Pam Shannon and her husband, Dave, of Louisa, KY; one brother, Caleb Scott Hackler and his girlfriend, Kierra Fonner of Villa Grove, IL; paternal grandparents, Ken and Patricia Hackler of Arcola, IL; grandmother, Linda Shannon of Louisa, KY and a niece, Kaliana Hackler-Fonner.

His maternal grandparents, Jim and Margaret Lemaster, one uncle, Marvin Lemaster and his grandfather, Don Shannon preceded him in death.

Jared graduated in 2005 from Lawrence County High School in Louisa, KY where he played basketball and helped lead the Lawrence County Bulldogs to their first ever 64th District Championship Title. He attended Morehead State University where he studied Electronic Communications. Jared was also a member of Maranatha Bible Church in Webbville, KY.

Jared loved to play basketball and could always make people laugh.
