Jeannie Rogers

JEANNIE ROGERS, 71, of Arcola, IL passed away at 9:52 A.M. on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Edwards Funeral Home. Rev. Kent Conover will officiate. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the funeral home.

Jeannie was born on May 2, 1945 in Arcola, IL. She was a daughter of Harry and Margurite (Humphrey) Stewart. She married Roy Junior Rogers on February 14, 1965 in Arcola, IL. He passed away on April 26, 2010.

Jeannie is survived by three daughters, Tracie Schrock (Tom) of Hindsboro, IL, Toni Rogers (Jim Culp) of Tuscola, IL and Trena Fustin (David Davis) of Arcola, IL; ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; one brother, William Stewart of Creve Coeur, IL and one sister, Phyllis Cruz Mattoon, IL

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-dad, Carl Smith, her husband Roy, three sisters, Patsy Jones and Peggy Woolard and Pracilla Casteel, Mayer and one brother, Duane “Buster” Stewart.

Jeannie had worked at Warren Broom Co. in Arcola for over 30 years. She retired from Collegiate Cap and Gown in Arcola with over 20 years of service.

She enjoyed drawing, painting, decorating and spending time with her family.
