Jeff was a 1983 graduate of Arthur High School. He worked at Masterbrand Cabinets in Arthur, IL for 24 years before entering the Insurance Industry. He was a member of the Kaskaskia Country Club and enjoyed playing in the Thursday evening golf league with his longtime golf partner and friend, Jay Gingerich. He was also involved in Field Trial Racing with Coon/Greyhound dogs, a sport he was introduced to by his grandfather and father. He loved spending time with his friends and going to coffee daily with his dad. Jeff enjoyed traveling and always looked forward to an annual trip to Las Vegas. Universal Studios was also a favorite destination for his family, as well as the annual business trips they were blessed with.

The last four years Jeff started riding his bike. He enjoyed riding all over Douglas and Moultrie Counties as well as the bike trail from Mattoon to Charleston. He participated in the Tour de Charleston for the last few years. You could always find Jeff listening to music on one of his Bluetooth speakers. He loved hard rock, and his favorite band was Linkin Park.

Jeff always cherished the time he got to spend with his family. He loved the fact that his grandsons were just a block away, and loved watching them ride or run up the sidewalk to Gramps’ house.
