JEFFREY A. “JEFF” LEGNER, 53, of Mattoon, IL formerly of Streator, IL passed away at 12:15 A.M. on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at his residence.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 21, 2014 in the Back Yard at his residence, 46 Apple Court in Mattoon, IL.
Jeff was born on July 13, 1960 in Streator, IL. He is a son of Vernon “Clem” and Georgia (Price) Legner. He married Barbara (Kramer) Harris on April 7, 2001.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Legner of Mattoon, IL; his parents, Vernon “Clem” and Georgia Legner of Streator, IL; step-daughter, Paulina Chavez; step-son, Michael Harris and eight step-grandchildren all of Charleston, IL; one sister, Susan (Don) Bellis of Georgia and one brother, Troy Legner of South Carolina.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Mark A Harris.
