John Anderson

JOHN ANDERSON, 82, of Arcola, IL passed away at 12:00 A.M. Friday, January 1, 2010 at his residence.

Funeral services were held at 9:00 A.M. Sunday, January 3, 2010 at the Dennis Yoder residence, 578 E. CR 200 N., Arcola, IL. Bishop Daniel Rocke officiated. Burial was in the Yoder Cemetery, rural Arthur, IL. Visitation was any time prior to the funeral services at the Dennis Yoder residence. Edwards Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.

John was born June 11, 1927 in Morocco, IN. He was a son of Albert and Susie (Miller) Anderson. He married Dora Kauffman November 8, 1951 in Arcola, IL.

Survivors include his wife Dora Anderson of Arcola, IL; one son David Ray Anderson and his wife Christine of Cave Creek, AZ; one granddaughter Nicole Marie Anderson of Seattle, WA and one brother Dave Anderson of Newton, KS.

His parents; one son Duane Anderson, three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

John was a retired farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
