JOHN T. WRIGHT, 58 of Illiopolis, IL passed away at 6:20 A.M. on Monday, January 14, 2008 in Illiopolis, IL.

John was born on July 27, 1949 in Decatur, IL. He was a son of Paul Albert and Emmabelle (Redman) Wright. He married Susan Lynn Klingstedt on May 17, 1968 in Glenview, IL.

Survivors include his wife Susan Wright of Illiopolis, IL; one son John D. Wright and his wife Sara of Webster Groves, MO; two daughters, Anna R. Goss of Auburn, IL and Heather L. Haben and her husband Charles of Moline, IL; four grandchildren, John Dalton, Austin, and Lexie Goss of Auburn, IL and Grace Haben of Moline, IL; his mother Emmabelle Wright and her companion Duane Walkinshaw of Inverness, FL and one sister, Judy Norton and her husband Marc of Louisville, KY.
His father preceded him in death.

John was an Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was a farmer and a real estate broker. He was involved in many community activities, including the Illiopolis School Board, Niantic Township, Niantic Civic Club, Illiopolis Business Association, and community theater.

John never met a stranger and was a friend to all. He served his Lord, Jesus Christ and raised his family to love the Lord. He was always available to lend a hand to family, church or community. He was respected by his community and adored by his family. He will be dearly missed until we see him again.
