JOSEPH WAYNE BURCH SR., 54, of Arcola, IL passed away at 9:49 A.M. on Monday, April 11, 2011 in Arcola, IL.
Funeral Services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL. Father Barry Harmon officiated. Burial was in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation was from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
Joseph was born on July 5, 1956 in Big Spring, TX. He was a son of Fred and Emily (Kliess) Burch. He married Carol Clabaugh on June 30, 1995 in Arcola, IL.
He is survived by his wife Carol Burch of Arcola, IL; three children, Emily Burch of St. Mary’s, GA, Joseph Wayne Burch Jr. of Mattoon, IL and Crystal Burch of Mattoon, IL; four sisters, Wanda S. Jara, of New Mexico, Jewel F. Tristan of New Mexico Audrey M. Hall of Charleston, IL, and Peggy L. Bauder of New Mexico; one step-daughter, Marsha Kimery of Arcola, IL; eleven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Jason and one stepson, Mark Clabaugh.
Joseph has worked for Monahan Partners for over twenty years.
He enjoyed supporting the Lawn Rangers, mowing, doing yard work and spending time with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations were made to the family.
