Juan Zendejas

Juan Pablo Zendejas, 67, of Arcola, IL passed away at 8:05 P.M. on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at his residence.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL.  Burial will be at a later date in the J. A. González Capillas Cemetery in Cadereyta Jiménez, N.L., Mexico.

Juan was born on July 28, 1954 in Cadereyta Jiménez, N.L., Mexico. He was a son of Jose Zendejas Andrade and Otilia Alvarez. He married Olga Lidia Garza Hechartea on January 27, 1979 in Cadereyta Jiménez, N.L., Mexico.

He is survived by his wife Olga of Arcola, IL, three children, Juan I. Zendejas and his wife Nancy of Houston, TX, Ismelda Aguilar and her husband Oscar of Arcola, IL and Luis A. Zendejas of Arcola, IL, five grandchildren, Juan R., Dana, and Mauricio Zendejas of Houston, TX and Oscar and Alexis Aguilar of Arcola, IL, one sister, Bertha Zendeja of Cadereyta, NL and one brother, Jose Zendeja of Cornilia, GA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Juan was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Arcola, IL.

He worked at Libmans for over 25 years and enjoyed dancing.
