JUDITH ANNE GRAY, 75, of Arthur IL passed away at 1:12 A.M. on Saturday, January 02, 2016 at the Arthur Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main St, Arcola, IL. Rev. Richard Gray, John Johnson and Rev. Doug Davis will officiate. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Edwards Funeral Home.

Judy was born on January 22, 1940 in Decatur, IL. She was a daughter of Alfred and Irene (Cain) Bingaman. She was raised by her maternal grandparents, Arthur Bryan and Lavern Cain. She married Edward Lee Gray on November 26, 1958 in Arthur, IL. He passed away on March 11, 2007.

Survivors include one son, Edward Bryan Gray and his wife Monica of Arthur, IL; one daughter, Deana Shields and her husband, Steve, of Arcola, IL; five grandchildren, Nicholas Shields and Mindi Keown of Tuscola, IL, Sherri Melton and her husband Ryan of Arcola, IL, Edward Bryan Gray Jr., Samantha Gray of Altoona, IA, and Eli Gray of Mattoon, IL; six great-grandchildren, Alexandra Gray, Richard and Lexi Jaeger, Jordan Melton and Tyler and Alicia Keown; and three siblings, Tom Houser and his wife Tammy of Decatur, IL, Wayne Houser and his wife Vickie of Helena, AL and Sue Welch and her husband Mike of Lake Wales, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gray, her father, Alfred Bingaman, her mom and dad, Irene and Ora Houser, her grandparents, one grandson, Derrick Foster Shields and one sister, Pam Schrock.

Judy was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Arthur, IL where she helped establish the food pantry at the church. She was a cook at the Arthur school district for several years. She had worked at the Arthur Cheese Factory, and later loved driving a school bus for Miller Bus Service.

Judy and Ed loved going on scenic bus tours.

After Ed passed away Judy enjoyed scrapbooking which allowed her to reminisce while going through old photos, and she also took up dancing, with good friends, which kept her busy a few nights a week.

Memorials may be made to the Arthur Home Activity Department.
