KATHY ANN DARNELL, 51, of Arthur, IL passed away at 11:20 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008 at her residence.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2008 at The Vine Street Christian Church in Arthur, IL. Rev. Michael Johnson will officiate. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until service time Thursday, February 21, 2008 also at the church. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting Kathy's family with funeral arrangements.
Kathy was born on December 24, 1956 in Boulder, CO. She was a daughter of Jack and Norma (Manion) Wing. She married Richard Darnell on July 1, 1988.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Darnell of Arthur, IL; two daughters, Dianna Darnell of Palmetto, FL and Chrissy Darnell of Champaign, IL; her mother, Norma Manion of Brush, CO; two sisters, Jackie Makey of Boulder, CO and Laura Malcom of Brush, CO; four brothers, Billy Manion of Longmont, CO, Donald Manion, Robert Manion and John Manion all of Brush, CO; three aunts, LaDonna Manion of Lafayette, CO, Meredith Manion of Longmont, CO and Martha Manion of Ft. Morgan, CO; two uncles, Veyle Manion of Arvada, CO and Jerry Manion of Thornton, CO and several nieces and nephews.
Her father preceded her in death in 1998.
Kathy had worked at MasterBrand Cabinets in Arthur, Il since 1988 and had befriended many people in the community. She was a loving mother, loyal friend and a helping hand to anyone in need. She will be…and is already deeply missed.
