Katie Graber

Katie E. Graber, 90, of Arthur, IL passed away at 6:45 A.M. on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at HCK West building in Arthur, IL.  Bishop Harvey Chupp will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Otto Cemetery.  Visitation will be held anytime after Noon on Monday and anytime after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Katie was born on December 19, 1927 in Arthur, IL.  She was a daughter of Elmer L. and Susan (Kauffman) Yoder.  She married Joe S. Graber on March 19, 1970 in Arthur, IL.  He passed away on June 23, 1989.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Irma Helmuth of Arthur, IL, and Mary Miller and her husband Marvin of Arthur, IL, one step-son, Henry Graber and his wife Ellie of Sarasota, FL, one sister, Mattie Glick of Indiana, two step-daughters-in-law, Katie R. Graber of Arthur, IL and Anna Mae Graber of Kalona, IA, 19 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two step-sons, David Graber and Alvin Graber, step-son-in-law, Omer O. Helmuth six brothers, and two sisters.

Katie was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
