KATIE ANN (YODER) KAUFFMAN, 93, of Arthur, IL passed away at 3:50 P.M. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at her residence in rural Arthur, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the George Kauffman residence, 2303 CR 1600 E, in in rural Arthur, IL. Bishop Nelson Diener will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in Arthur, IL. Visitation will be anytime prior to the funeral at the George Kauffman residence. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Katie was born on April 17, 1919 in Arthur, IL. She was a daughter of Noah C. and Eliza Yoder. She married Steve A. Kauffman on December 17, 1940 in Arthur, IL.

She is survived by her husband Steve; 10 children, Kenneth Kauffman and his wife Annie of Tuscola, IL. Jake Kauffman and his wife Fannie of Arcola, IL, Nelson Kauffman and his wife Ella of Humboldt, IL, Joe Kauffman of Arthur, IL, Clare Miller of Arthur, IL, Ben Kauffman and his wife Pauline of Lovington, IL, Irene Kauffman of Arthur, IL, George Kauffman and his wife Lorene of Arthur, IL Mary Kauffman of Arthur, IL and Louise Herschberger and her husband Wilmer of Arthur, IL; 51 grandchildren; 156 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Andy Ray Yoder of Leonard, MO and one sister, Clara Martin of East Earl, PA.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a, son-in-law, Melvin Miller, and 2 daughters-in-law, Alta Kauffman and Edna Kauffman, 7 brothers, Henry, Chrissie, Elvin, Enos, Sylvanus, Johnny and Nelson Yoder and three sisters, Fannie Plank, Cora Beachy and Mattie Miller.

Katie Ann was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
