Katie Miller

KATIE MARIE (YODER) MILLER, 67, of Lovington, IL passed away at 9:26 A.M. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at her residence in rural Lovington, IL.

Visitation will be held any time after 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the family residence, 1352 St. Hwy. 133, Lovington, IL. Funeral service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at the family residence. Bishop David E. Schrock will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in Arthur, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Katie was born on July 8, 1948 in Moultrie County, IL. She was a daughter to Henry R. and Alma D. (Schlabach) Yoder. She married Elmer L. Miller on February 25, 1971 in Moultrie County, IL.

She is survived by her husband, Elmer Miller; six children, Lisa Kay Miller and her husband Howard of Lovington, IL, LeAnne Schrock and her husband Mervin of Sullivan, IL, Gerald Lynn Miller and his wife Malinda of Lovington, IL, Karen Renee Miller of Lovington, IL, Carol Jean Kaufman and her husband Clifford of Arcola, IL and Treva Ellen Miller of Lovington, IL; seven grandchildren, Austin and Lora Leigh Miller, Corrina and Jordan Schrock, Kristine, Adam and Jeana Miller, one brother, Howard Yoder and his wife Nettie of Arthur, IL and one brother-in-law, Eli Hershcberger and his wife Anna Marie of Arthur, IL.

She was preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Edward and Ruben Yoder and one sister Ruby Herschberger.

Katie was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
