KENNETH E. WILLIS SR., 48, of Mattoon, IL passed away at 6:56 P.M. on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, IL.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Salvation Army Citadel, 1300 Richmond Ave. in Mattoon, IL. Burial was in the French Cemetery in Allenville, IL. Visitation was from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Monday, September 27, 2010 at the Salvation Army Citadel in Mattoon, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Kenneth was born on February 2, 1962 in Mattoon, IL. He was a son of Marion Earl and Nadine (French) Willis.

He is survived by four children, Kenneth E. Willis Jr. and his wife Amanda of Mattoon, IL, Joseph B. Willis of Mattoon, IL, Earl G. D. Willis of Arthur, IL and Shyanna M. Willis; a companion Debbie Willis of Mattoon, IL; nine grandchildren, Jonathan Colman, Kalen Alwardt, Makayla Willis, Bradley Willis, Codey Newhart, Haylee McConnell, Haily Willis, Codey Willis and Isabella Danford; three brothers, Michael Eaton and his wife Mary of Wichita, KS, Richard Eaton of Mattoon, IL and Kevin Willis of St. Louis, MO and one sister, Connie Bryant and her husband Jerry of Wichita, KS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Chelsea Elizabeth Willis, one granddaughter, Bentley Michelle Willis-Hoehner and one sister, Betty Dare.

Kenneth was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Memorials were made to the family.
