KIM E. BENNER, 60 of Hammond, IL formerly of Atwood, IL passed away at 8:46 P.M. on Friday, April 25, 2014 at his residence.
A graveside memorial service was held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Cartwright Cemetery in rural Tuscola, IL. Rev. Phil Nevius officiated. The Edwards Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
Kim was born on February 19, 1954 in Tuscola, IL. He was a son of Walter and Leona (Garrett) Benner.
He is survived by one sister, Linda K. Hula of Elberta, AL; two brothers, Phillip M. Benner of Denver, CO and Roger V. Benner of Atwood, IL; nine nieces and nephews and a very special friend and companion Carol Huckstep.
Kim had a compassionate and caring soul. He was loved by friends and family and will be truly missed.
In lieu of flowers memorials were made to the donor’s choice.
