Kipp Harned

Kipp Harned, 39 of Tuscola, IL passed away at 1:09 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO with family beside him. 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main Street in Arcola, IL. A celebration of Kipp’s life will be held at 7:00 P.M. following the visitation at the funeral home.

Kipp was born on January 8, 1985, in Tuscola IL, to Raymond Paul and Becky Ann (Hendrickson) Harned. He married Jamie, she preceded him in death.

He is survived by his mother Becky Harned, a brother Brad Harned and his wife Heather, his close friend Monica, aunts Vickie, Kenna, Jill, and Cheryl, uncles Pete and Jerry, cousins James, Amber, Ryan, Cole, and Blake, nephew, Paul, nieces, Larissa and Liana, and his four-legged sidekick Maggi.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray “Rolly” Harned, his wife Jamie, maternal grandparents, Archie and Laura Hendrickson, paternal grandparents, Kenny and Peggy Harned, and his uncle Kent.

Kipp worked mainly in factories as a forklift driver. 

He enjoyed watching Chicago Cubs Baseball. He had a passion for tennis shoes and had many pairs for any occasion. His smile and laugh were infectious, and he always had a good story to share, a quality he got from his mother.
