Larry Elder

LARRY D. ELDER, 64, of Neoga, IL passed away at 4:30 P.M. Thursday, October 9, 2008 at his residence.

A memorial service will be at 5:00 P.M. Sunday, October 12, 2008 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main Street in Arcola, IL. Rev. Brandon Hatfield will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Sunday.

Larry was born on June 11, 1944 in Chesterville, IL. He was a son of Willie K. and Arvie True (Edwards) Elder.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Elder of Neoga, IL; one brother, Ivan Elder and his wife, Mary Ann of Mattoon, IL; two sisters, Ruby Gray of Charleston, IL and Pansy Bumpus and her husband, Mac of Charleston, IL.

His parents; his first wife, Carol Elder; two sons, Rusty Elder and Lonnie Elder and one brother, Denzil Elder preceded him in death.

Larry was an Army veteran. He had been an avid coon hunter and dog trader.
