Leroy Yoder

LEROY JAY YODER, 35, of Chesterville, IL, passed away at 12:50 P.M. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, June 26, 2010 at the Raymond B. Miller residence 465 E. CR 400 N. Arthur, IL. Bishop Dannie Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery, Arthur, IL. Visitation will be anytime prior to the funeral services at the Raymond B. Miller residence. Edwards Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Leroy was born June 15, 1975 in Bloomfield, IA. He was a son of Lloyd M. and Mary (Gingerich) Yoder. He married Wilma Miller January 20, 2006 in Arcola, IL.

Survivors include his wife Wilma Yoder of Chesterville, IL and 2 children Dakota Wayne and Nicole LaReigh both at home; his parents Lloyd and Mary (Gingerich) Yoder of Bloomfield, IA; 8 brothers Kenneth Yoder and his wife Wilma(Mast), Robert Yoder and his wife Miriam(Yoder), Steven Yoder and his wife Alma (Beechy), Nelson Yoder and his wife Deliah (Ruggles), David Yoder, Mark Yoder and his wife Rosanna (Herschberger) Marlin Yoder of Bloomfield, IA and Lavern Yoder and his wife Karen (Miller) of Arthur, IL; six sisters Linda Beechy and her husband Mervin, Edna Bontrager and her husband Floyd Jr., Barbara Kurtz and her husband Marvin, Laura Hostetler and her husband Perry, Carolyn Yoder and her husband Nathan and Susan Yoder all of Bloomfield, IA; and his paternal grandmother Mrs. Mose Yoder of Choteau, OK.

His paternal grandfather Mose Yoder, maternal grandparents Joni and Sovilla Gingerich and one nephew Andrew Beechy preceded him in death.

Leroy was employed with Rocke Overhead Doors.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
