Leslie Lindstrom

LESLIE LYNN LINDSTROM, 51, of Arcola, IL passed away at 5:05 P.M. on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at his residence.

A visitation was held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL.

Les was born on July 17, 1959 in Monticello, IL. He was a son of Gordon and Wilma (DeVore) Lindstrom. He married Mary York on April 1, 1994 in Arcola, IL.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lindstrom of Arcola, IL, five children, Rebecca Lindstrom of Arcola, IL, Melissa Lindstrom of Arcola, IL, Casper Lindstrom and his wife Ildaura of Mattoon, IL Natashia Bissontz and her husband James of Arcola, IL and Harley Lindstrom of Arcola, IL, eight grandchildren, Damon, Devin, Slade, and Rylee Large; Jersey Mackenzie Rodriguez and Ryan Lindstrom and Nautia and Jeramiah Bissontz; his mother, Wilma Lindstrom of Atwood, IL and four sisters, Fran Turner and her husband Mike of Atwood, IL, Linda Kent and her husband Brad of Champaign, IL, Freda Gustafson of Forrest Park, IL and Debbie Drake and her husband Jerry of Atwood, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father Gordon Lindstrom and two brothers, Randy Lindstrom and Wayne Lindstrom.

Les worked at Progress Industries in Arthur, IL for 30 years.

He enjoyed hunting, tinkering in his garage, working with metal and woodworking. He was especially fond of his Harley Davidson Motor Cycle and spending time with family and friends.
