Linda Beaty

LINDA SUE BEATY, 52, of Arcola, IL passed away at 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Champaign, IL.

Funeral Services were held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the First Christian Church, 311 East Main, Arcola, IL. Rev. Harold Williamson officiated. Burial was in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation was held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 16, 2010 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main, Arcola, IL.

Linda was born on September 7, 1958 in Tuscola, IL. She was a daughter of Homer L. Clark and Mildred L. Wiggle Clark. She was previously married to Steve Beaty.

She is survived by her daughter, Lesley Baker and her husband Dustin of Mattoon, IL; her father Homer Clark of Arcola, IL; four siblings, Robert Clark and his wife Linda of Arcola, IL, Janet Clark of Arcola, IL, David Clark and his wife Pam of Arcola, IL, Judy Schmitt of Springfield, IL; one granddaughter, Avery Baker.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Clark.

Linda was a member of the First Christian Church of Arcola, IL, where she played in the bell choir, sang in the choir, and was a deacon.

She had worked for The Thomas Monahan Company, Specialty Filaments for over 20 years, and most recently at Libman Broom Company.
