Linda Icenogle

LINDA SUE “TOOTS” ICENOGLE, 65 of Arthur, IL passed away at 3:07 P.M. on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at her residence.

Graveside funeral services were held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, April 25, 2011 at the Bement Cemetery in Bement, IL. Rev. Ivan Jess officiated. The Edwards Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Toots was born on May 27, 1945 in Pittsfield, IL She was a daughter of James and Alma (Root) Smith.

She is survived by four children, Terry Cain and his wife Linda Kay of Arthur, IL, Ronda Wheeler of Decatur, IL, Jeanie Mast of Tuscola, IL and Christopher Icenogle; seven grandchildren, Briana Cain, Vickie Sloan, Amanda Wheeler, Bryan Wheeler, Stephanie Mast, Allyson Mast and Mikayla Helmuth; one great-granddaughter, Halie Cline; three brothers, Wayne Smith of White Heath, IL, Dale Smith of Tuscola, IL and John Smith of Garrett, IL and one sister, Francis Montgomery of Tuscola, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jimmie Smith and one nephew Tommy Smith.

Toots has worked at the R and I Restaurant in Arthur, IL for over ten years. She enjoyed watching wrestling on TV and her favorite wrestler was “The Undertaker”. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
