Linda Taber

LINDA LEE (FOLEY) TABER, 64, of Mattoon, IL passed away at 5:05 P.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family.

Memorial services honoring her life will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 15, 2011 at the Central Community Church, 200 Lafayette Avenue East in Mattoon, IL. Pastor Lou Butler and Pastor Brad Brown will officiate. The family request casual dress and would like friends to know that lunch will be served at the church following the service. The Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL is assisting Linda’s family with arrangements.

Linda was born on April 29, 1947 in South San Francisco, CA. She was a daughter of Thomas Albert and Eunice Darlene (Gerard) Foley. She married Jack Taber on October 31, 1993.

Survivors include her husband Jack Taber of Mattoon, IL; two sons, Steven Sims of Mattoon, IL and Charlie Sims of St. Louis, MO; one daughter Krystal (Sims) Budde and her husband Chad of Mattoon, IL; one step-son, Ryan Taber and of Champaign, IL; nine grandchildren and five siblings, Janet Brown of Boise Idaho, Vicki Theriault and her husband Leon of Brookings, OR, Jim Foley and his wife Marsha of Phoenix, AZ, John Foley and his wife Peggy of Sacramento, CA and Tammy Zapata and her husband Mike of San Bruno, CA.

Her parents and one brother, Tom Foley, preceded her in death.

Linda was a member of the Central Community Church of Mattoon, IL and will be leaving special friends Suzie Pruitt, Joy Hooker, Terry Vaultonburg, Brad and Heather Brown, Richard Lester, and Jamie Whitaker.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
