LISA JANE DECKER, 50, of Arthur, IL passed away at 6:08 P.M. on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the Southern Baptist Church, 530 North Vine Street in Arthur, IL. Rev. Doug Davis will officiate. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Southern Baptist church in Arthur, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Lisa was born on April 12, 1961 in Owensboro, KY. She was a daughter of James Franklin and Ruby (Heath) Decker.
She is survived by one son, Steven Snyder of Arthur, IL; her mother, Ruby Decker of Arthur, IL, two brothers, James Franklin Decker Jr. of Tulsa, OK and Zyndle Decker of Kemp, IL; two sisters, Rachel Mattlin of Sadorus, IL and Rhonda Schrock and her husband Willis of Arcola, IL; one half brother, Anthony Decker of Kansas, IL and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.
Lisa had recently become a member of the Southern Baptist Church. She had worked at Arcola Health Care Center, and at Masterbrand Cabinets in Arthur, IL.
She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the family.
