Lois Mast

Lois Kay Mast, 74 of Columbus, IN passed away at 12:48 A.M. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Four Season Health Center in Columbus, IN.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main Street, Arcola, IL.  Rev. Lanny Faulkner will officiate.  Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Lois was born on May 1, 1944 in West Frankfort, IL.  She was a daughter of Lawrence and Rose Sanders.  She married Joseph S. Mast on May 30, 1964 in Sullivan, IL.  He passed away on November 12, 1997.

Survivors include three children, Larry Mast and his wife Nicole of Columbus, IN, Gary Mast and his wife Elena of Mt. Sterling, KY and Rhema Mast of Chicago, IL; one granddaughter, Emily Mast; two step-grandchildren, Dalton and Grace Anderson; two brothers, Norman Sanders and his wife Alice, and David Sanders and his wife Mikalene all of West Frankfort, IL; and one sister, Doris Gualtney of Carmi, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joe Mast.

Lois was a member of the Crofton Baptist Church in Crofton, KY, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Atwood, IL.

She had worked at Walmart in Carmi, IL and operated a day care in her home.

Lois enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, crocheting, collecting dolls and playing the keyboard and piano.
