Biography MARLA REYNOLDS, 47, of Decatur, IL passed away at 2:40 P.M. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IL.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at GT Church 500 S. 27th Street, Decatur, IL. Pastor B.G. Nevitt officiated. Burial was in the Friends Creek Cemetery, Argenta, IL. Visitation was held from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday, November 16, 2009 at the church. Edwards Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Marla was born July 14, 1962 in Decatur, IL. She was a daughter of Gerald and Shirley (Grubbs) Snoke. She married William Joseph Reynolds April 14, 1984 in Decatur, IL.

Survivors include her husband William Reynolds of Decatur, IL; two sons William “Andy” Reynolds of Evansville, IN and Jeremy “Ryan” Reynolds and his wife Elizabeth of Harristown, IL; two step-children Robin Hushour and her husband Clay of Taylorville, IL and Randy Reynolds and his wife Christi of Springfield, IL; three brothers Russell Snoke and his wife Jamie of Decatur, IL, Kenneth Snoke and his wife Cheryl of Evansville, IN and Mark Snoke and his wife Jennifer of Decatur, IL; one grandchild Abigail Reynolds and five step-grandchildren.

Her parents, one son, William Reynolds Jr, one granddaughter and one brother preceded her in death.

Marla graduated in 1980 from Argenta High School. She worked as a LPN at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield in the Neonatal unit. She later worked in Decatur for Becker’s Chiropractic Clinic.

She enjoyed reading, listening to music and was a lifelong member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God.
She dedicated her life to taking care of children.
