MARLYS FERN FIDLER, 72, of Hindsboro, IL passed away 12:22 A.M. on January 9, 2014 at her residence in Hindsboro, IL surrounded by her family.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in the VanVoorhis Cemetery in Hindsboro, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home
assisted the family with arrangements.
Marlys was born on November 3, 1941 in Tuscola, IL. She was a daughter of Louie and Laura (Linder) Dallas. She married George A. Fidler of April 15, 1960 in Tuscola, IL.
She is survived by her husband, George of Hindsboro, IL; three children: Danny Dwayne Fidler and his wife Kathy of Decatur, IL, George Anthony “Tony” Fidler of Tuscola, IL and Tammy Barzilla Huckstead of Mattoon, IL; six grandchildren: Natalie, Jeremy and Shelby, Katie, Zach and Kelsey; two sisters: Sarah Porter of Sparta, IL and Mary Redden of Sandwich, IL; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and six brothers.
Marlys was a homemaker and always enjoyed reading.
