Mary Brewer

MARY V. (JOHNSON) BREWER, 77, of Newman, IL passed away at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Heath Center in Mattoon, IL.

Mary was born November 26, 1930 in Newton, IL. She was the daughter of William C. and Alice P. (Fillinger) Johnson. She married Arnold D. Brewer June 26, 1945 in Camargo, IL. He preceded her in death February 10, 1990.

Survivors include five sons, Franklin C. Brewer and his wife Christine of Newman, IL, Roger D. Brewer and his wife Cathy of Tuscola, IL, Gordon R. Brewer and his wife Glenda of Paris, IL, Richard A. Brewer and his wife Frances of Tolono, IL, Ronald Brewer and his wife Linda of Brocton, IL; one daughter, Vickie D. Anderson and her husband Sam of Garrett, IL and her companion, Joe Gilbreath.

Her parents, her husband, two sisters and one daughter preceded her in death.

Mary was a housekeeper for many years. She loved house plants, playing the organ and being with her family. She will be sadly missed by all.
