Mary Coslet

Mary Grace (Honn) Coslet, 98, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Tuscola Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL.  Rev. Dick Miller will officiate.  Burial will be in the Hugo Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mary was born on November 2, 1921 in Kemp, IL.  She was a daughter of Absalom Carter Burton and Nellie C. (Payne) Honn.  She married Dale Coslet on September 1, 1957 in Kemp, IL.  He passed away on January 11, 1992.

She is survived by five children, her two daughters, Julia Hudson and her husband Jerry of Arcola, IL and Lora Coslet of Tuscola, IL, Dorothy Badger and her husband Louis of Murdock, IL, Harold Coslet and his wife Barbara of Urbana, IL and Georgia Barnes and her husband Danny of New Windsor, IL, five grandchildren, Caleb Hudson of Arcola, IL, Ellen Lindsey of Urbana, IL, Duane Coslet and his wife Jennifer of Tuscola, IL, Steve Barnes of Henderson, CO, and Dale Barnes of New Windsor, IL, five great-grandchildren, Daniel, Alisha, Joseph, Gavin and Ethan and one brother, Loren Honn and his wife Marilyn of Savoy, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one granddaughter, Alisha Hudson, one grandson, Joseph Coslet, one great-granddaughter, Ann Marie Lindsey, and two sisters, Eva Honn and Edith Hoots, one brother, Carter Honn, two sisters-in-law, and one brother-in-law.

Mary was a member of the Kemp Church of Christ.  She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles.
