Mary Herschberger

MARY L. HERSCHBERGER, 68, of Rural Sullivan, IL passed away at 12:34 P.M. on Friday, December 5, 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL.

Mary was born on November 27, 1940 in Douglas County, IL She was a daughter of Levi J. and Amanda (Graber) Stutzman. She married Monroe C. Herschberger on January 14, 1960 in Douglas County, IL.

She is survived by her husband, Monroe C. Herschberger; eight children, Willis M. Herschberger of Bradenton, FL, Lavern M. Herschberger and his wife Kim of West Moreland, TN, Glen M. Herschberger and his wife Fannie Mae of Willow, AK, Wilma Fern Mast and her husband Harley of Bloomfield, IA, Erma Louise Yoder and her husband James of Ava, IL, Edward Herschberger and his wife Amanda of Sullivan, IL, Amanda M. Kaufman and her husband Aaron of Sullivan, IL and Andy Ray Herschberger and his wife Leona of Sullivan, IL; 40 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one brother Floyd Stutzman of Arthur, IL and one sister Anna Kauffman of Arthur, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Leanna Kay Herschberger, one brother, Calvin Stutzman and one sister, Martha Yoder.

Mary was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Visitation will be held any time prior to the funeral service.

Bishop Howard Otto will officiate.

Monday December 8, 2008 at Herschberger Cemetery

Burial will be held immediately following the funeral service.
