Mary Keepper

MARY GRACE (OSBORN) KEEPPER, 85, of Arcola, IL passed away at 12:00 noon on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at her home.

A visitation was held from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola IL. Burial was in the Wares Church Cemetery in Butler, IL.

Grace was born April 25, 1925 the daughter of Clarence and Edith (Wilson) Osborn on the Osborn farm in Butler, IL. She married Delbert Wayne Keepper on April 3, 1947. Delbert passed away on March 28, 2005. He also passed away at their home.

Delbert and Grace had four children; Michael of Herrin, IL, Melissa and her husband Mark of Winona, MN, Michele and her husband Van of Arcola, IL and Marc of Boston, MA. They had three grandchildren, Mindy Michele who passed away in 2005, Morgan Alicia and Jessie Mariah Grace; and three great grand children, Dylan Wayne, Logan Veronica and Eathan Joseph.

Grace was a Registered Nurse for over thirty-five years having worked at Jarman Hospital in Tuscola, IL, The Arthur Home, and Dr. Ramon Climaco’s office in Arcola, IL

Grace loved nursing and helping people. That is what she was born for. She loved her family, cooking and history. Most of all she loved the Lord.

Memorials were made to Wares Grove Church in Butler, IL or the United Methodist Church of Arcola, IL.
