Mary Mast

Mary Ann (Plank) Mast, 94 years, 4 months and 1 day, of Arthur, IL passed away at 2:15 P.M. on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at her residence in rural Arthur, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Monday, March 25, 2019 at the family residence, 1577 CR 2000 N. in rural Arthur, IL.  Bishop Marion Miller will officiate.  Interment will be in the Miller Cemetery in rural Arcola, IL.  Visitation will be held anytime after 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the family residence.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mary Ann was born on November 20, 1924 in Kansas.  She was a daughter of Joni T. and Mary (Bontrager) Plank.  She married William A. Mast on October 10, 1946.  He passed away on January 12, 2003.

She is survived by two sons, five daughters and two daughters-in-law, Anna Irene was married to Lynn William of Arthur, IL, he passed away in 1997, Verna Kay married to Gary Dale Miller of Arthur, IL, Ruth Anna married to Reuben Yoder of Arthur, IL, Sara Marie was married to Andy Ray of Arthur, IL, he passed away in 2008, Lela Fern married to Melvin Kaufman of Arthur, IL, Elva Jay married to Leona Gingerich of Tuscola, IL, Joe Allen married to Deloris Yoder of Humboldt, IL, Ada Lorene married to Kenneth Yoder of Loganville, WI and Betty Ellen married to Floyd Miller of Arthur, IL, 73 grandchildren, 237 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and one brother-in-law, Willis Miller of Milroy, IN

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Mast, two sons, Lynn William Mast and his first wife Dorothy and Andy Ray Mast, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Mary Ann was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
