Biography

MILLIE BEACHY, 75 of Sarasota, FL died peacefully on November 15, 2012 at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Funeral Services in will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Otto Center in Arthur, IL. Bill Yoder, Wayne High and Wilber Gingerich will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at the Otto Center. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with local arrangements.

She was born February 4, 1937 in Arthur, IL. She was a daughter of Toby and Fannie (Beachey) Mast.
Millie married Elmer Beachy, her husband of nearly 56 years, November 22, 1956. They have nine children; Dorinda, deceased,(John Hostetler) Muscoda, WI; Larry (Ellen), Dominican Republic; Ron, Kokomo, IN; MaryLane (David Byler), Bonners Ferry, ID; Phil (Jen), Bonners ferry ID; Bernice, (Lynn Ropp), Fairland, OK; Danny (Linda), Guatemala City, Guatemala; Dennis (Liz), Eldorado Springs, MO; Owen (Jenny) Coyhaique, Chile; Forty one grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren. She is survived by her mother, Fannie Mast; one sister, Dorothy (Sam) Hershberger, Arthur, IL.

She was preceded in death by her father, Toby Mast; her sister, Katie Schrock; her daughter, Dorinda; and three grandchildren.

She gave her heart to the Lord in her youth and remained faithful to the Lord. She attended the Sunnyside Fellowship of Sarasota FL for the past 9 years.
