NANCY MAE OTTO, 83, of Sullivan, IL passed away at 7:35 A.M. on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Friday, February 15, 2013 at the Andrew Gingerich residence in rural Arthur, IL. Bishop Harvey Chupp will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in rural Arthur, IL. Visitation will be anytime after 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Andrew Gingerich residence. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Nancy was born on August 16, 1929 in Tuscola, IL. She was a daughter of John J. and Katie (Kauffman) Mast. She married Elmer J. Otto on May 13, 1954 in Douglas County, IL. He passed away on April 26, 2011

Survivors include two sons Melvin Ray Otto and his wife Susanna (Yoder) of Cadwell, IL and Richard William Otto and his wife Tomi (Nichols) of Mattoon, IL; four daughters Katie Viola Miller and her husband Elva H. of Arthur, IL, Dorthy Fern Helmuth and her husband Stan of Arthur, IL, Mattie Irene Beachy and her husband Doug of Arthur, IL and Amanda Kay Miller and her husband Mervin H. of Sullivan, IL; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren and 7 step great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mattie Schlabach of Sullivan, IL and two sister-in-law, Amanda Kemp of Arcola, IL and Nancy J. Otto of Arthur, IL.

Her parents, her husband two half-brothers, Fred Mast and Jonas Mast and three half-sisters, Anna Stutzman, Mary Otto and Sovilla Schrock preceded her in death.

Nancy was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

She had worked in the bakery at Rockome Gardens for many years.
