Norma Schreib

NORMA SCHREIB, 74, of Arcola, IL passed away at 1:45 A.M. Monday, May 30, 2011 at her residence.

Graveside services were held at 11:30 A.M. on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Humboldt Cemetery. Visitation was held held from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 3, 2011 at the Edwards Funeral Home, in Arcola, IL.

Norma was born October 31, 1936 in Arcola, IL. She was a daughter of Charles and Minnie (Lawrence) Key. She married Robert L. Schreib on March 30, 1957 in Humboldt, IL. He passed away August 30, 2002.

Survivors include two daughters Cheryl Schreib of Riverview, FL and Sandra Moe and her husband Robert of Powder Springs, GA; two grandchildren Westin Moe and his wife Jaimie and Dalton Moe all of Powder Springs, GA; 4 brothers Frank Key and his wife Ella Mae of Montrose, IL, Charles Key and his wife Norma of Las Cruces, NM, Arthur Key and his wife Judy of Humboldt, IL and Richard Key and his wife Patricia of Arcola, IL; two sisters, Wilma Price and Charlotte Simpson both of Mattoon, IL.

Her parents, her husband; one brother, Carl Key and two sisters, Roberta Chambers and Ida Mae Laymon preceded her in death.

Upon retiring, she returned to her hometown and enjoyed spending time between Illinois, Georgia and Florida visiting with her children and grandchildren. Norma was an avid gardener and loved working in her flowerbeds. She also enjoyed sewing, crafts, crocheting, and baking.
