OMA J. SCHROCK, 73, of Arcola, IL passed away at 1:11 A.M. Sunday, November 3, 2024 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Dwayne J. Herschberger’s residence, 405 N CR 400 E, in rural Arcola, IL. Bishop Jacob M. Stutzman will officiate. Burial will be in the Miller Cemetery in rural Arcola, IL. Visitation will be held anytime after 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 4, 2024 and anytime after 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday November 5, 2024 all at Dwayne J. Herschberger’s residence.

Oma was born December 21, 1950 in Tuscola, IL. She was a daughter of Jonas M. and Dora E. (Beachy) Schrock. She married Lewis Ray Schrock on November 30, 1978. 

Survivors includer her husband Lewis Ray Schrock of Arcola, IL; one son Mikel Eli and his wife Nancy E. (Yoder) Schrock of Tuscola, IL; 3 daughters Anna Dora Herschberger and her husband Casey of Mattoon, IL, Rose Mary Schrock and Lela Ruth Schrock both of Arcola, IL; four grandchildren, Larry Eugene Schrock (4yrs.), Alex Herschberger (13 yrs.) Casean Herschberger (8 yrs.), and Davian “DJ” Herschberger (6 yrs.); one brother, Mikel Ray Schrock and his wife Katie Marie of Arthur, IL, two sisters, Lela Otto and her husband Wilmer of Sullivan, IL, Loretta Schrock and her husband Harvey of Arthur, IL and one sister-in-law, Marcia Yoder and her husband Howard of Arthur, IL; five nephews and three nieces.

Oma was preceded in death by a son, Larry Ray Schrock, her parents, Jonas and Dora (Beachy) Schrock and a brother, Velvon J. Schrock.

Oma was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
