Patsy Crabtree

PATSY CRABTREE, 54, of Arthur, IL passed away at 10:20 A.M. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday August 18, 2013 at the Edwards Funeral Home 221 East Main Street, Arcola, IL. Rev. John Stewart will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery at a later date.

Patsy was born on June 27, 1959 in Effingham, IL. She was a daughter of Junior and Edna (McClain) Ballinger. She married Walter J. Crabtree II on December 31, 1986 in Effingham, IL. He passed away on July 22, 2004.

She is survived by two daughters, Beth Mann and her husband, Robert of Arthur, IL and Nikki Romine and her husband, Ryan of Atwood, IL; one step-daughter Alicia King and her husband, Brad of Paris, IL; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew; one brother Wayne Ballinger of Neoga, IL and two sisters Barb Shutts of Mattoon, IL and Connie Ballinger of Arthur, IL and one very special companion Milo her shorkie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one brother Rex Ballinger.

Patsy was a 1977 graduate of Mattoon High School. She worked at Master Brand Cabinets in Arthur for 25 years and later at the Arthur Flower Shop.

Patsy enjoyed spending time with her friends, her family and especially her grandchildren.
