PAUL “TOMMY” EDGAR, 64, of Sullivan, IL passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at his residence in Sullivan, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 24, 2008 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main Street in Arcola, IL. Rev. Harold Williamson will officiate. Burial will in Humboldt Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service time.
Tommy was born on April 21, 1944 in Mattoon, IL. He was a son of William C. and Hazel B. (Grant) Edgar.
Survivors include two sons, Troy Edgar and his wife, Tammy, of Isabel, IL and Travis Edgar and his wife, Lori, of Newman, IL; one brother, William Corwin Edgar and his wife, Diane, of Hindsboro, IL and four grandchildren, Kayla and Kari Edgar of Isabel, IL and Chad and Hannah Edgar of Newman, IL.
His parents and one sister, Marilyn “Lynn” York preceded him in death.
Tommy grew up in the Hindsboro/Windsor area and attended Windsor High School. He retired from Caterpillar in Peoria, IL in 1991 with 25 years of service.
Tommy enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and mushroom hunting.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
