Paul Edward Enlow

PAUL EDWARD ENLOW, 74 of Chesterville, IL passed away at 11:43 A.M. on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at his residence. 

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, in the Arthur Cemetery.  Father Angel Sierra will officiate. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Paul was born on April 24, 1948, in Brandenburg, KY, a son of Robert and Correne (Embry) Enlow. He married Barbara (Ohm) Borntreger on April 24, 1987, in Henderson, KY.

He is survived by his wife Barb; five children, Ed Enlow and his wife JoAnn of Macon, IL, Terry Enlow of Mattoon, IL, Amy Barnhart and her husband Clay of Mahomet, IL, Jackie Tharp of Farmer City, IL, and Scott Enlow of Missouri; two step-children, Jeff Borntreger and his wife Stephanie and Patty Brown all of Arthur, IL; four siblings, Virginia McNutt of Farmer City, Victoria Brown and her husband Jim of Nokomis, IL, Ellen Lynch of Tuscola, IL and Nellie Kleiss of Tuscola, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert Louis Enlow, one sister, Joanna Sue Burch and a step-granddaughter, Shelby Tate.

Paul was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the Arcola Masonic Lodge.

Paul hauled garbage for many years for the residents of Arcola, and Arthur and everywhere in between. After he retired in 2008, he worked for Gary Doemelt.
