Paula Bright

PAULA BRIGHT, 67 of Mattoon, IL passed away at 7:13 P.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 28, 2016 at the Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mattoon, IL. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at the Edwards Funeral Home 221 E. Main St., Arcola, IL 61910.

Paula was born July 6, 1949 in Mattoon, IL. She was a daughter of Paul and Betty (Crum) Tinch. Paula married Stephen Bright on November 1, 1969 in Mattoon, IL.

Survivors include her husband Stephen Bright of Mattoon, IL, one son Josh Bright and his wife Andrea of Mattoon, IL and one daughter Dawn Owen (Brad Cordes) of Mattoon, IL; three grandchildren, Zak Owen (Lauren Lappe), Andy Owen and Izzy Owen; three great grandchildren River, Finn and Noah; three siblings, Gina Harris (Doug Rinkel) of Mattoon, IL, Steve Tinch and his wife Becky of Mattoon, IL and Marsha Stewart and her husband Stacy of Elgin, IL and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, one sister Junia Longcor and one son-in-law Whit Owen preceded her in death.

Paula was a member of the Cumberland County and Champaign County camera clubs. Paula was an avid photographer taking many pictures of her family and friends and the scenery that she loved. Besides her love for photography she enjoyed antiquing, but most of all she enjoyed taking care of her family and friends. She was always cooking and sharing whatever she could with everyone she knew. But spending time with her family was precious.
