Paula Parker

PAULA MAY PARKER, 54, of Mattoon, IL passed away at 9:30 P.M. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center surrounded by her family and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main Street in Arcola, IL. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, December 10, 2012 at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Mattoon, IL.

Paula was born on September 17, 1958 in Mattoon, IL. She was a daughter of Paul Earl and Lois (Willis) Livingston. She married David Keith Parker in September of 1982. He passed away on July 10, 1986.

She is survived by two children, Brandy May Bottom and her fiancé Joe Morford of Mattoon, IL and David Michael Parker and his fiancé Jessica Byard of Arcola, IL; five grandchildren, Tyler, Julian, Grayson, Legend and Cherokee; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, David Raybon and Janet Louise (Rendleman) Parker of Sesser, IL and six brothers and sisters-in-law, Lesa J. Wells and her husband Fred C. of O’Fallon, MO,
Darrek R. Parker and his wife Tammara of Sesser, IL, Darin W. Parker and his wife Elaine of Granite City, IL, Laura D. Gant and her husband Terry of Licking, MO, Drake E. Parker of Mexico, MO and Launa S. Corbitt and her husband Steve of South Roxanna, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Paula had been a Certified Nurse’s Assistant for over 35 years. She had worked at the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home, Mattoon Health Care and most recently Palm Terrace all of Mattoon, IL.

She enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking and spending time with family and friends especially her grandchildren.
